Step away from the noise, the screens the endless to-do lists and return to something older, simpler and deeply nourishing. Wild Roots is a weekend retreat designed to ground you in nature, reconnect you with the wild world around you, and gently bring you back to yourself. What's included - 🌿Guided foraging walk - learn all about the edible and medicinal plants on your doorstep. 🌿Herbal remedy making - using the plants we foraged, we will create an ointment, balm or tincture that you can take home. 🌿Wild swimming - we have exclusive use of the beautiful rain water swimming lake on the land, complete with heated outdoor shower! 🌿Meditation - a grounding meditation to connect you with the land and sooth your nervous system. 🌿A personal herbal tea blend - you will learn how to use your intuition to choose the herbs that are right for you, then create your own tea blend to use at home. 🌿Campfire stories and fireside connection - what better way to end a day? You can't beat the type of deep sleep you get after an evening of fire gazing. 🌿Nature crafts - a nice simple craft session using natural materials. 🌿One night camping - bring your own tent and sleep under the stars, waking to birdsong. 🌿Nourishing meals and drinks - lunch and dinner provided Saturday, breakfast and lunch provided Sunday. Plus snacks and refreshments throughout the weekend. 🌿Time to rest, reflect and rewild - enjoy a quiet moment to yourself in one of the many relaxing spots dotted around the private land. Such as the Willow dome, hammock or lake hut. 🌿Connection - make new friends with like-minded people, connect with the land and find yourself again. Held at 'Be Still Retreat' a private location just outside Chippenham. It's a truly magical hidden gem. The perfect balance of comfort yet wild, where you can enjoy the outdoors but not feel like you're roughing it! An email will then be sent with bank details so you can pay the balance in one go, or choose to pay in flexible instalments.
