A chance to really get to know the plants growing in our local area. Each session we will explore a new plant. You will learn how to identify it, where it likes to grow, it's traditional uses, but more than that - you will get to know it on a personal and intuitive level. How does the plant connect with YOU? This is more than just foraging and learning the common facts of each species. We will explore an intuitive way of understanding how you can work with the plant in a way that is unique to you personally. Using all our senses - discover what it is the plant wants to teach you, and what you can offer in return as you begin to form a connection with the plant, like a friend or guide. Plants can be our greatest teachers if we learn how to truly listen. These sessions will be held at Woven Earth, Chippenham and depending on the plant, may also include a short walk to see it in it's natural habitat. So please wear appropriate clothing to be outdoors. The walk will not be strenuous, however Woven Earth is located at the top of 2 flights of stairs so a basic level of mobility and fitness will be required.
